Wavelength welcomes Sophia Adams Bhatti as Head of Strategy and Policy

Wavelength has appointed Sophia Adams Bhatti in the new role of Head of Strategy and Policy to start in September! She will drive the evolution of Wavelength’s capabilities at the intersection of policy and regulation, the future of legal services and in using technology to influence positive societal outcomes.

Sophia is a highly respected policy and regulation expert, with nearly 20 years of experience in the regulatory and policy arena. Most recently, at the Law Society, she led the legal and regulatory policy team with oversight for policy development across the full breadth of law reform, engaging with policy makers in government, and partner agencies, both domestically and internationally. Specifically, Sophia spearheaded the Law Society’s programme of work on the impact of technology on the law and the justice system and practice of law.

Credited for bringing energy and vision to the Law Societies role in the field of legal technology, Sophia is the creator and lead of the Law Society’s ground-breaking Public Policy Commission on the use of Algorithms in the Justice System. A respected expert in her field internationally she brings to Wavelength a wealth of experience, drive and insights.
