Erika Concetta Pagano joins Wavelength as Head of Legal Innovation and Design

Erika Concetta Pagano has joined Wavelength in the new role of Head of Legal Innovation and Design to lead the development, growth, and management of the legal design and innovation aspects of Wavelength’s international business.

Erika has extensive experience of delivering innovation in the legal sector. She was previously a Lecturer in Law at the University of Miami School of Law, where she also served as Director of the internationally acclaimed programme, LawWithoutWalls. Erika continues to teach a course on ‘Innovation, Technology, and the Law’ at IE University in Madrid, Spain.

Erika joins four other new hires in the last three months:

Barbara Hamilton-Bruce, Head of Client Operations, joined Wavelength in March 2019 and brings extensive experience in legal operations and transformative change from her role as Head of Client Operations at Slater and Gordon Lawyers. Barbara is skilled at bringing together talented individuals to understand and design solutions to deliver improved experiences.

Chris Simkins, Senior Lawyer and Legal Engineer, joined Wavelength in March 2019 with over a decade of legal experience in both law firms and in-house legal teams including: DLA Piper, Plusnet, and Royal Mail. Chris joins Wavelength with a deep understanding of the challenges of legal operations and a desire to ‘do law better’.

Struan Britland joined Wavelength in May 2019 as Head of Legal Operations Solutions. He built and led a multidisciplinary operations team at leading global technology company Arm and now uses that experience to focus on transformational change in the delivery and management of legal services and operations

Annabel Wilson started her new role as a Legal Design Engineer in May 2019, transferring her world-class litigation skills into creative design-thinking with a focus on creating practical solutions that are easy to implement and foster positive change for everyone.
